great free, but no access because the site is down
ReplyDeleteSite is down again. Promote "free access" and what you get is NO access.
ReplyDeleteAnyone know when it will be back up?
ReplyDeleteDid you hear about the airlines that advertised (computer glitch, no doubt) cheap flights to Hawaii ($7.00)? They honored anyone who happened upon that offer on that day and purchased tickets. I think if Ancestry is going to offer this free access and the site goes down, then they should extend it for a week or two more!
ReplyDeleteSo, I have user access for U.S. records, under normal conditions. Would I have to get an independant free account or can I use my regular sign in?
We did experience some website issues earlier today and we apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. Please take advantage of the free access through tomorrow evening as there are some great collections available right now.
ReplyDelete@Margaret: You may use your existing account to access the records above.
Cheers,
