Last week FamilySearch hit an impressive milestone. The 13th of November 2014 was the 120th anniversary of the founding of FamilySearch International, previously known as the Genealogical Society of Utah.

Congratulations, FamilySearch!

  1. I have recently had problems with relatives are using "Find a Record.com" website resulting in 1) duplicate sources being added, 2) sources added that will not open, 3) incorrect info from old ancestral file being added back into Family Tree when correct info has been added with sources with detailed explanations, and 4) info from incorrect Family Trees on ancestry.com is being added.

Can you share any information with me about the family search approved “Find a Record" website? Could a patron be required to look at the actual Family Tree with its discussions and sources before changing Family Tree? The blind adding and changing of info with "Find a Record" makes a patron look like they cannot read!
